As stay at home orders and limits to facilities continue, training at home can be difficult for many reasons. Limit to space, equipment, and what to do are all reasons we are unable to get training in. Although there may be limits to what we can do, we are still able to train certain skill and conditioning pieces.

After several tough outings for both Liverpool and Tottenham, they both were able to make it to the Champions League Final. For the first time in 12 years an all English Premier League final and it did not disappoint. Liverpool being the reigning runner-up after a disappointing loss the previous year to Real Madrid. Liverpool’s offense were firing on all cylinders coming into this game with the front three, Firmino, Salah, and Mane all having 10+ goals in the tournament. On the other side, Tottenham were having a defensive stretch of strength and unity with very few goals being scored on them in play. The issue with Tottenham is they unfortunately do not have the best luck in games. This became apparent very early in the game.

While we approach a tackle or 50/50 ball, we first have to assess how the ball is in play. Is it bouncing, in the air, rolling away from or to us? Understanding how to approach the ball and the situation you are in can change how you take on a challenge.
