The Three C’S Of Hitting The Ball For Power

While the three C’s of hitting are Confidence, Concentration, and Consistency.  There are also three C’s for hitting for power.

Connected:
Your ability to get your front & back-side on the same page working as a unit to pull the bat through with Force.
Contact Point:
Where you hit the ball matters.  Acceleration through the ball out in front creates back-spin which leads to higher exit velos and distance.

Crush:
Hitting for power is a mentality!  Aggressive moves in your linear and rotational phases put you in a position to channel all of your energy through the ball.

These Power C’s require a deep level of commitment, concentration, and consistency because you must eliminate unnecessary moves in order to produce your “A” swing. ​
