Professional Experience
Originally from Virginia Beach, VA, Casey excelled in multiple sports at an early age. In middle school, she was a multiple sport athlete but once she got to high school she decided to focus all her energy on field hockey. She played 4 years of varsity field hockey at Frank W. Cox high school where she was team captain, All American and Female Athlete of the Year. Her high school success led her to be recruited by many Division I field hockey programs but she ultimately decided to walk on at UNC because she wanted to play with the best of the best. While at UNC, she earned a full athletic scholarship, won two ACC Championship titles, competed in four Final Fours and two National Championships. During her junior year of college, Casey was selected to the U.S. Women’s National Team. After graduating college, Casey played two more years with the Red, White and Blue before finishing her career in 2018. While on the team she trained and competed with some of the best field hockey players around the world. Following her professional career, Casey realized that her passion in life was fitness and helping others so she decided to become a certified personal trainer. Living an active lifestyle has given Casey confidence, ambition and drive. These traits are something she feels passionately about instilling in every client she works with. Specifically, Casey loves mentoring young athletes past their limitations and excuses to accomplish things they have never thought possible. She’s notorious for making everything into a competition and she’s always up for a challenge. |

Hailing from Harrisburg, PA, Aliyah was a multi-sport athlete for several years, playing soccer, basketball, field hockey, and running track. Though she was introduced to club field hockey relatively late in the college recruiting cycle, Aliyah was able to field several Division I athletic scholarship offers. Ultimately, she chose Georgetown University for its prestigious academic reputation and opportunities to rebuild the hockey program. She was the first person in her high school's history to earn and accept an athletic scholarship. While on the Hilltop, Aliyah was a four-year starter and leader on the field. She was a three-time All BIG EAST team selection, making her the first player in program history to earn a spot on the First Team. She was also the first player in program history to earn a spot on the all conference team for three years. In her junior year, she was awarded the Big East Conference Scholar-Athlete Sport Excellence Award, which is given to one student-athlete in each Big East-sponsored sport based on academic credentials, athletic accolades or performances and volunteer service to the community. Excelling in the classroom as well, Aliyah was a four-year member of both the BIG EAST All Academic and the Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division I National Academic squads. She graduated from Georgetown in 2017 with a Bachelor's in Government and a minor in Sociology. Currently, in addition to her full-time job as the Program Coordinator for Georgetown's Prisons and Justice Initiative, Aliyah is in her second year as the Volunteer Assistant Coach for field hockey at the University. Her love for the game and passion for coaching, combined with her own experiences at Georgetown, have given her a unique perspective that she is eager to share with players in their developmental phase. |
