Perfect Performance 4v4 Rec Field Hockey League
The Perfect Performance 4v4 Rec Field Hockey League provides Pre K-4th grade field hockey players of all levels an opportunity to develop their field hockey skills. The 4v4 game format provides players with more opportunities to see the ball, in turn developing fundamentals, and game IQ. 4v4 prepares players with the tools necessary to succeed when transitioning to 7v7 and 11v11. Our goal is to continue growing the game in Northern Virginia by providing opportunities for young Field Hockey Players. PP Rec Field Hockey League is based out of Oakton, VA but is open to anyone in DC/MD/VA.
By participating in the Perfect Performance Rec Field Hockey League, athletes will:

- Participate in seven(7) games and seven (7) practices
- Expand their overall knowledge of the game
- Develop fundamentals such as passing, hitting, first touch, defense, deception, and positioning
- Receive professional coaching from former college players and current field hockey players

Q: Who will be coaching my daughter?
A: All of our coaches are highly experienced former collegiate players and current Field Hockey coaches. All of our coaches have a high level of understanding of the sport and excel in their ability to teach youth field hockey players.
Q: How long is the season, and when does it start?
A: The rec league is offered in both the Fall and Spring seasons. Our Fall season will begin in early September and run through October. The Spring Season begins in late March/early April and runs through late May/early June.
Q: When are practices and games?
A: Practices will be held 1 hour before games. All games and practices will be played on Sunday mornings.
Q:What is the time commitment associated with the Perfect Performance Rec League?
A: Roughly 1.5 hours, 1 day a week. The first hour will be dedicated to practice.
Q:What equipment will I need?
A: A field hockey stick, shin guards and a mouth guard. Many players like to play with a padded hand glove but this is optional. When picking stick height, the stick should come up to the athlete’s hip bone. Goalie gear can be ordered online based on personal preference. Cleats and/or turfs are not required but they are recommended. Players will receive a Perfect Performance Field Hockey pinnie to wear to all practices and games.
