PERFECT PERFORMANCE 9v9 HOUSE FOOTBALL LEAGUE
9v9 bridges the gap between flag and tackle football. Inspired by the NFL’s approach to practice, 9v9 provides a low impact, up-tempo, assignment and acumen focused development platform. Based on these principles, it is the ideal experience to develop true football fundamentals. The value lies in the development of advanced football skills while keeping the head out of the game.
The Perfect Performance 9v9 House League is a developmental league which focuses on football skills enhancement and team play. 9v9 is non-tackle football that helps keep players safe, while closely simulating 11v11 football. This league is meant to better develop and prepare 4th-8th grade players for tackle football.
9v9 blends the best elements of football with detailed skill and acumen development. We are going to teach the game in practice periods and then compete in game periods. The league will be directed by the professional football coaching staff at Perfect Performance which includes Stanford Football Alumni and 2x Team Captain, Alameen Murphy.

By participating in the Perfect Performance 9v9 Football League, athletes will:
- Compete in a 9V9, extension of 7V7, league that includes OL and DL
- Be apart of a program that implements the necessary fundamentals and skills for making the transition to tackle football smooth and effortless
- Focus on position specific skill development in a competitive, low impact environment
- Learn blocking techniques, coverage techniques, defeating blocks, route running, passing, and catching with a soft-shell helmet and soft shell shoulder pads

Q:What is time commitment associated with 9v9?
A: Each team will play one(1) 50 minute game per week. Teams will also practice two hours per week with their respective teams.
Q:What days of the week do we practice and play?
Practices and on Sundays from 1:00-3:00pm.
Q:How will the teams be formed?
A: Players will register as individuals and will be placed on a team by the league officials after the player evaluation day.
Q:How many kids will be on each team?
A: Teams will have 15-20 players per team. The 9v9 platform will allow each player to receive as much in-game experience as possible.
Q:What ages are allowed to play in the league?
A: Open to 4th-8th graders; Divisions will be split up by grade.
Q:What equipment is required?
A: Soft-shell helmets and mouth guards are required for all players. The soft-shell helmet rental is included in the cost of registration, and will be provided to all players at the first practice.
*Any helmets that are lost/not returned at the end of the season will result in a $50 replacement fee*
Q:Will there be professional referees?
A:Yes, each game will have two professional referees.
Q:What will the COVID-19 safety measures be at the field?
A:All registered teams will have designated check-in posts at the field with a league associate. Each league associate will ensure that each player has a mask upon entering the field, gets a temperature check prior to entering the field and has completed the digital COVID-19 waiver and pre-training questionnaire. If athletes show symptoms, they will not be allowed to enter the field and play in the game.
