Perfect Performance is the area leader in complete football athlete development, Perfect Performance provides focused programs for football players from youth to professional. Our football program is led by former Professional and College football players who know what it takes to play at the highest level. We have helped hundreds of football players achieve their goals of playing college and/or professional football.
OUR LEADERSHIP
Leonard is a Miami, Florida native, but grew up in Mercer County, NJ. He was a multi-sport athlete at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School in Princeton Junction, NJ competing in football, basketball, and track. After lettering in three sports, Leonard earned an academic and football scholarship to Howard University. While at Howard, Leonard earned MEAC All-Academic Awards and 2nd Team All-Conference honors. After graduating from Howard, Leonard was signed as a priority free agent to the San Diego Chargers in May 2000. After minor injuries during the 2000 and 2001 seasons, Leonard made his NFL debut in 2002 with the Washington Football Team. From 2002-2008, Stephens played for the Detroit Lions, the Seattle Seahawks and the Tennessee Titans.
After retiring from the NFL in 2008, Leonard dove head first into youth sports. First, he started Perfect Performance as a youth sports institute dedicated to developing elite athletes and preparing them for the next level. He also started coaching High School football. He spent six years at Gonzaga College High School from 2009-2014 coaching Tight Ends and Special Teams. During his tenure at Gonzaga, Leonard coached two players that went on to play college football at the tight end position. After leaving Gonzaga, Leonard consulted with St John's College High School and coached at Bishop Dennis J O’Connell High School. In the summer of 2020, Leonard resumed youth football coaching with South County Athletic Association as Perfect Performance is their partner for player and coach development. Since 2006, Leonard has focused on training and developing athletes as part of the Perfect Performance family. He is fortunate to have worked with players across all sports and all levels throughout the journey. |
Luke Saia is an experienced Quarterback Coach and Certified Biomechanic Specialist. As a biomechanics specialist, Luke's expertise lies in the intricate analysis and optimization of human movement to enhance performance while mitigating injury risks. With an unwavering commitment to excellence, Luke champions the ethos of maximizing potential through meticulous attention to detail. Prior to coaching, Luke was a four year starter at Falls Church High School and achieved All Region Honors as a Quarterback. Their 2017 team broke the single-season school scoring record. Luke is extremely passionate about offseason development and nurturing the growth of young football players.

Andrew Trainer knows what it takes to play at the highest level.
Andrew is originally from Alexandria, VA where he played high school football at Saint Stephens and St Agnes. Andrew was a three-star recruit, and a top 30 recruit in VA. He was an All-State and All-Met selection. After high school, Andrew went on to play college football at Illinois. After he completing his Bachelor's degree at Illinois, Andrew continued his athletic and academic career at William & Mary. While at William & Mary Andrew was a Phil Steele All-American, All CAA Selection, and All-State Selection. Andrew started in every game and was an anchor for W&M's offensive line that ranked 16th nationally with 205.5 rushing yards per game, 8th nationally for fewest sacks per game, and 10th nationally for fewest sacks allowed. In 2022 Andrew signed with the Los Angeles Chargers. |
Noah Taylor is from Silver Spring, Maryland where he was a linebacker at Avalon School. In High School he was named a 3 star recruit by ESPN.com, Rivals.com, Scout.com, and 247Sports.com.
Noah went on to play college football at the University of Virginia. At UVA Noah played in 44 games, making 31 starts. While at UVA he had 13.5 sacks, 30 tackles for loss, 84 Solo Tackles, 86 Assisted Tackles and 3 Interceptions. One of those interceptions includes the 3rd longest INT-Return in UVA history for 85 Yards. After graduating from UVA, Noah went on to play his grad year at the University of North Carolina. At UNC he started in all 8 games at Jack before missing the remainder of the season due to injury. He led the team in sacks with 3.5, and posted 28 tackles, six tackles for loss, two pressures and two Passes broken up. In July of 2024 Noah was signed by the Edmonton Elks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). |
Kobe Marfo played high school football at Hayfield Secondary School in Alexandria, VA. He received All-Conference recognition as a Kick Returner, and as a Defensive Back. His Junior season he had 80 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 3 interceptions, 12 pass break-ups, and 3 forced fumbles. Following high school campaign, Kobe went on to play four years of NCAA Division 1 Football at Rutgers University.

A Perfect Performance and TeamPP 7v7 Alumni, Dre grew up in Hyattsville Maryland. As a four-year varsity player at DeMatha Catholic High School, Dre was a repeat WCAC champion his junior and senior year. As a Tight End at DeMatha Dre received All-Conference First Team and DMVelite All-DMV honors. Dre was on the Top 50 list for Maryland by Rivals.
Dre went on to play Division 1 football at Temple University. Dre made the change from Tight End to Defensive End. He made a strong impact on the Defensive side of the ball playing in 35 games. Since graduating college, Dre has gone on to pursue a career in coaching. |
