Why Perfect Performance Cardinal?

Isa (Isabella) and Gabi (Gabriella) are both members of the current PP Cardinal 2022 team, where they have contributed to the success of the team as they were ranked twelfth nationally in the Fall of 2020. Both girls attend St. Paul VI and compete in multiple sports throughout the school year. Isa and Gabi are also members of the U19 Puerto Rico Women’s National Team as well as a number of other accolades you can find listed below. Both Isa and Gabi have accepted offers to play at Villanova University as the next step in their careers. Congratulations girls!! Go Wildcats! Go Cardinal!

Isa Henson-Vendrell
“I first joined the Cardinal family in the Fall of my 8th-grade year(2017-2018). I decided to join Cardinal because the previous club team I was playing for wasn't doing so well at the time and when I played against Cardinal in a tournament, the coach of the 2022's at the time really liked how I played and invited me to join/practice with the team for summer training. When I joined the team the girls were all so welcoming and inviting and I instantly connected with the coaches as well as the players on the team. Cardinal being one of the best lacrosse programs in the DMV area, tremendously helped my lacrosse career excel in the future. Cardinal has definitely prepared me in many ways to play collegiately as well as play on national teams. The amazing things about the Cardinal program are the coaches and mentors of the program have helped and guided me throughout my athletic career. The connections that the coaches at Cardinal have are amazing. They are all extremely helpful and want every player on the field to succeed on or off the field. Two coaches, in particular, that helped me tremendously during my recruiting process at Cardinal were Coach Ashley and Betsy. Having the amazing opportunity to be coached by two incredible coaches helped me develop as the athlete I am today. Not only did they help me succeed on the lacrosse field, but they also helped me develop into the person I am today. They helped me develop into the lacrosse player I am today.”

Gabi Henson-Vendrell
“After recovery from an injury throughout my summer into 8th grade to the winter of that year, I wanted to be on one of the best programs in the dmv : Cardinal. I thought the perfect distance from Vienna/ Reston to Haymarket, my home, was unmatched and the friends I had on the time would make my transition back to the game even better. Moreover, that was the best decision I’ve ever made. My coaches, Ashley and Betsy, knew exactly how to make my transition back to the sport effective and comfortable. Not only did they become mentors and role models playing and character wise, but they were the best advocates for me, recruiting wise, throughout the process. The connects that Cardinal coaches have are just incredible; this was seen through the amount of opportunities I was given to play collegiately. Nevertheless, the training and management proves why PP Cardinal is the place to be.”
